The Internship Program

Here at Fresh Life our hearts, our souls, our minds, and our efforts are fixated on one thing: seeing God glorified and His kingdom built.  His heartbeat is our war drum; it urges us on — further, deeper, with more passion, with more resolve.

In our Fresh Life internship, we are looking for the most committed, passionate, and faith-filled people (ages 17-35) to link shields with us and march forward to see those stranded in sin find life and liberty in Jesus Christ.

We are seeking to train and equip the youth of today to take ground for the Kingdom and take their place as the leaders of this generation.

If you are ready to answer the call and take the leap, to be wrung out for the gospel, to be stretched beyond your comfort zone, and to be used by God, we want you to apply!

A Calling

This is more than an opportunity, it's a calling: a calling to see those stranded in sin find life and liberty in Jesus Christ.

Advancing the Vision

We are looking for leaders, people who will sacrifice and bleed to carry the banner and advance the vision.

Potential Unleashed

What could God do with you if there was no ceiling to your potential? Well we're anxious to see it through.

Back What is an internship

A Fresh Life internship is an opportunity for you to join our team, serve in our church, and use your skills and in turn, we will develop those skills, develop you as a person, and pour into you spiritually. This isn’t a training course or college, although you will grow. We want to help you develop your existing gifts while you use those gifts to further our church for the glory of God!

How long is the internship

We are currently accepting applications for our summer internship. It will begin June 10 and end August 14.

Is this a paid internship

The Fresh Life internship is not a paid internship.

Does Fresh Life provide housing

We do not provide intern housing. It is up to each individual to find their own housing. When searching for living arrangements look within Kalispell, Whitefish, Bigfork, Evergreen, Somers (Craigslist is generally the best resource). Occasionally members of Fresh Life Church will have housing options (with and without rent). Those housing opportunities are on a case by case basis to help ensure the right fit for both parties. If you are accepted into the program, please let the intern team know right away if you need housing and we will help as much as we can, but again it is up to each intern to find their own housing.

What if I am an international applicant

Each applicant is responsible for ensuring their work eligibility in the USA. Documentation of the proper work VISA will be required prior to acceptance into the internship program.

What if I am under 18

Any applicants under the age of 18 must be housed by their immediate family or a relative. If the applicant is still in high school, they must be entering their senior year.

Transportation

It is highly recommended that interns have a vehicle, unless they are in walking distance of the church (downtown Kalispell). Kalispell does not have a well established public transportation system.

Will I be able to get a job

This is up to each intern's discretion. We feel we have given you enough free time to get a part time job if necessary. Previous interns have stated that having a part time job was difficult but worth it to be apart of the internship. We have a connection with a local staffing agency which will be available as a resource to you upon acceptance.

Hours during the week

Interns are required to work 20 hours per work-week at the church. Tuesdays are mandatory, and the rest of your hours are varied per department and will be determined with your team lead.

On the weekends, we require our interns to serve or attend all worship experiences at the campus they are serving at for the weekend.

Traveling

This is one of our favorite parts of the internship program (and we think it will be yours too)! Throughout the duration of the internship, the entire intern group will travel to each Fresh Life campus across Montana to serve on a specified weekend. These trips are mandatory. Transportation and lodging will be provided.

Group Time

Our internship program is small but that enables us to pour into and get to know our interns in a special way. We will meet as a group every Tuesday morning. The rest of your weekly hours at the church will primarily be spent working in your department.

Events

All church wide events are mandatory and are considered “ all hands on deck”. This includes before, during, and after an event. Events that include traveling (Skull Church, O2 Experience, etc.) are not guaranteed for interns.
